The GAD / EST department is establishing for administrative work of head quarter level. Dy. Municipal Commissioner (GAD) is the head of the department and Superintendent, Sr. Clerks and Clerks are working under their control.Work of GAD. is done as per provision of Bombay Provisional Municipal Act 1949, Maharashtra State Civil Service Rule, Govt.'s order, resolution and rules framed by corporation.

Functions & Duties

  • Maintenance of Service Books :

    • Leave,
    • To take note of various orders,
    • Fixation of Pay.
  • All procedure regarding giving benefits of pensions to the employee.
  • Implementation of dues, Allowances and Advances.
    • Medical Allowance.
    • Vehicle Allowance.
    • Cash Allowance.
    • Handicap Allowance.
    • Washing Allowance.
    • Festival Advance
    • Additional Charge Allowance.
  • Departmental inquiries regarding mis conduct of Municipal Employees, Departmental Enquiry conduct under M.C.S.R. 1979 and Punishments imposed under the B.P.M.C.Act,1949 and M.C.S.R.1979.
  • To attend Court Cases in various Courts regarding Employee matters.
  • Pay Bills
  • Seniority List.
  • Municipal Union Correspondence.
  • Correspondence with Government.
    • L.A.Q.
    • Lokayukta references.
    • Lokshahi Din.
